The iPhone 15 is the seventeenth generation, replacing the iPhone 14. Its launch was announced on September 12, 2023, along with the 15 Pro and Pro Max variants, the Apple Watch Series 9, and the Apple Watch Ultra 2. It was released on September 22, 2023, with pre-orders available from 15th of September.
The iPhone 15 comes in five new colors: blue, pink, yellow, green, and black. The new titanium-coated iPhone 15 Pro is available in natural titanium, blue, white and black. The iPhone 15 has a 6.1 inch (155 mm) screen with Super Retina XDR OLED technology at a resolution of 2556×1179 pixels and a pixel density of around 460 PPI. The iPhone 15 Plus has a 6.7 inch (170 mm) screen with the same technology at a resolution of 2796×1290 pixels and a pixel density of around 460 PPI. Both models have Super Retina The Dynamic Island feature is now standard on iPhone 15, replacing the display notch.
